Dr. Philippe Chartrand, D.M.D.
Dr Philippe Chartrand is a dental surgeon at Les Coteaux, since june 2005. Originary from south-west of Montreal, it’s back to his roots for there are Chartrand family roots in Montérégie area.
In June 2000 he finished is Health Sciences diploma at the Maisonneuve College of Montreal, then persued his studies in dentistry at the University of Montreal, where he graduated in june 2005. At first, he worked at Les Coteaux and Ville-d’Anjou, but after the retirement of Dr. Édith Olivier Guay in september 2006, he decided to establish his practice and work full time at Les Coteaux.
Since february 2008, he is a co-owner of the clinic. His passion for dentistry motivates him to persue continuous education each year therefore have the ideal dental treatment plan for his patients needs.
Dr. Jade Pichon-Roy
My name is Jade Pichon-Roy. I am originally from the Val d’Or area of Abitibi-Témiscamingue, Quebec. Part of my high school was done in Mazatlán Mexico, where my family lived for two years. Upon our return to Canada in 2009, I did a two year college degree in health sciences. I then began my doctorat in dentistry at the University of Montreal in 2011.
As part of my university program, I was fortunate to do a traineeship at the CHUM Notre-Dame. This training allowed me to deepen my knowledge in surgery, oral medecine and pathology to therefore provide better quality care to my patients.
Community involvement is very important to me. For a few years already, I have been a member of "Dentraide", a community organism meething the need of disadvantaged people. In 2015, I took part in a humanitarian trip to Chiapas Mexico, where we provided dental care to the local population.
It is with great enthousiasm that I begin my professionnal career has a member of this great team. The values and the history of the professionnals of the Centre dentaire Ménard, Daoust, Chartrand are part of the reasons I chose to come and work in this beautiful community. Dr. Patrick Dorion
Dr. Patrick Dorion joined the training program for military dentists of the Canadian Armed Forces in 2001 and obtained his doctorate in dental medicine at the University of Montreal in 2005. Immediately after his graduation, he began to practice dentistry within the Canadian Armed Forces in Halifax, Nova Scotia, where he remained for four years. Thereafter, he practiced the profession at the military base of St-Jean-sur-le-Richelieu for a period of three years. Dr. Dorion considers his military experience as one of the finest there is and as one of the foundations of his current practice.
In 2011, he left the Forces and decided to limit his private practice to dental surgery by offering surgical services to several dental clinics on the outskirts of Montreal. He is passionate about implantology and has all the training and skills necessary to perform surgical procedures in the dental field. He graduated from the Canadian Institute of Implantology in 2011.
He invests a lot of time in perfecting his surgical methods to provide patients with the best care. Dr. Dorion is accompanied in his travels by a competent and dynamic team.
Dr. Erin Ilagan
Originally from Pointe-Claire, Dr. Ilagan joined our team in June 2021. Daughter of a dental hygienist, she has always been interested in dental health and the well-being of people.
Dr. Ilagan completed her college diploma in 2012 at Cégep John Abbott, where she obtained her diploma in Dental Hygiene Technique. She worked as a hygienist for 5 years, during which she developed her passion for dentistry. She therefore decided to return to studies at Laval University and obtained her Doctorate in Dentistry in 2020. Subsequently, Dr. Ilagan continued her studies at McGill University in a multidisciplinary residency in a hospital setting. It was during this year that she was able to deepen her knowledge in general dentistry with medically compromised patients, in oral surgery and in fixed restorations on implants.
She loves to travel and explore the world. In fact, she lived in New Zealand. In addition, this dedicated woman participated in an 8-week community project in Malawi, Africa.
Dr. Ilagan is very enthusiastic about the idea of developing her practice among us and wishes to pursue continuing education courses to stay abreast of advancements in dentistry, in order to be able to offer the best quality care to her patients.
Dr. Mouhamed Dandan
Originally from Île-Bizard, I am a young dentist who has a burning desire to learn. My alertness and my resourcefulness push me to want to surpass myself every day, both personally and professionally. The idea of treating a group of patients with the approach of global treatment, the autonomy in the management of patient care, as well as the opportunity to provide care to a patient of all age, represent a considerable motivation for me in my philosophy of practice.
In recognition of my professional qualities and my sense of ethics, I am the recipient of the professionalism award issued by the Académie dentaire du Québec in 2022, thus highlighting the excellence of my academic career and my results during my school career. .
My purpose in life is very simple. I want to leave a beautiful image of myself and I want to make a difference in the lives of the people I meet in my daily life. I can't wait to get to know you and the idea of starting out in a clinic that perfectly matches my values is a considerable motivation for me.
